Veralidaine Sarrasri is one of my favourite characters ever. i love all of tamora pierces books, but this was the first series i read.
she is a wild mage, she can transform into animals, speak with them, and at one point, bring them back to life.
her weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.
this scene is after she is proving her aim to the boys blindfolded.
They are then in the forest and get attacked by spidrens.

EDIT:
ok, because it annoyed me that i had the scene wrong and because some people told me it was too dark, i've changed it.
this is Daine when she can see magic, at the point of the scene i had list time, she would not have had the griffin fletched arrows and the griffin claw necklace.
The magic is how i wanted it, it should be in strands, thats how she sees it, but yeh, maaaaybe another time, id rather focus on trying to do the others now.

EDIT2:
ok, i liked this one better, it's brighter, prettier and someone has corrected me that the claw is the badger's claw not a griffin claw.
the other four are in scraps, lol.
